Abstract
В первой половине 2000-х годов в социологический анализ религиозного бума постсоветской России вошло понятие десекуляризации, под которым подразумевалось усиление роли религиозных организаций (в первую очередь Русской православной церкви) в политическом пространстве на фоне роста количества верующих с начала 1990-х годов (Karpov 2010). При этом советский период имплицитно противопоставлялся современному и воспринимался как секулярный. Антрополог религии Соня Люрман также прибегает к этой оппозиции в одной из своих статей (Luehrmann 2005). Однако ее последняя книга «Секуляризм в советском стиле: преподавание атеизма и религии в одной приволжской республике» является исследованием о преемственности советского и постсоветского периодов в сфере атеизма и религии и тем самым ставит под сомнение применимость понятия десекуляризации к настоящему времени.
