Abstract

Книга «Вглядываясь в благосостояние: гендер и [социально-ориентированная] деятельность в постсоциалистических странах» представляет собой результат международного проекта, инициированного в 2008–2012 годах университетом Хельсинки. Задачей как проекта, так и книги, было проанализировать трансформацию социальных структур и институций, ответственных за социальную защиту населения, а также культурные значения, придаваемые «благосостоянию» в постсоциалистических обществах, на примере деятельности гендерно ориентированных организаций и активистов.
